PENOSIL Premium Expanding Tape 300 is a pre-compressed, self-expanding, elastic joint seal created to protect external facade joints and window frame joints against wind, rain and dust. After installation, the material expands to fill the gap and create a permanently elastic and weathertight seal.

Tips
- After opening, the sealant expands slowly. Expansion speed depends on temperature and is faster in warm temperatures.
- Ideal application temperature between +5 °C and +30 °C.
- Contact surfaces should be clean, dry, free of dirt, dust and oil, parallel and right-angled.
- To avoid under-compressed applications, use the dimension chart.
Limitations
- In external conditions must be covered.
- Do not install the tape in edges; instead cut the tape and press the ends together under right angle. Press the excess part tightly in the edge.
- When splicing the tape, press the ends tightly together, avoid overlapping.
- Do not clean with pressurized water jet or with strong acid solvents.
- Do not paint.
- In high, humid and windy conditions, e.g. at the coast and on hills, please use Expanding Tape 600.
