Hydrative lime (extinguished) is a white fine dispersible powder obtained by mixing calcium lime with water, in which calcium oxides and magnesium oxide from 60 to 70% are active.
Use:
- in construction: additives in dry mixes, for the manufacture of dry building mixtures – plasters, adhesives, floor levelers, valves, puttying and other
- in agriculture: improving soil quality; as a bactericidal agent
- in the chemical industry: for the extraction of calcined soda, in the production of calcium carbide, bleaching powder, bertolet salt, synthetic rubber, etc.
- for the protection of the environment: treatment of flue-gases from sulphur oxide; neutralisation of waste water; regulation of water parameters
