Aerated concrete blocks Bauroc Green

Description

Bauroc GREEN aerated concrete blocks have a particularly low environmental impact, as cement and lime are replaced with reusable raw materials in the product's recipe.

Bauroc GREEN is used for the construction of building walls to achieve the lowest possible environmental impact of the building and to obtain BREAAM, LEED or other equivalent sustainable building certification.

GREEN blocks are suitable for the construction of load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls, as well as interior and exterior walls. The average dry density of the material is 475 kg/m³ and the compressive strength fb=2.1 N/mm² (2.1 MPa).

The GWP (global warming potential) of GREEN block production is only about 50 kg CO₂ e/m³, which is a record low value at a global level. The CO₂ footprint of all bauroc block production is 121…. 180 kg CO₂ e/m³, which is significantly lower than that of alternative building blocks (e.g. expanded clay concrete blocks, hollow concrete blocks). In turn, thanks to the use of secondary raw materials in the bauroc GREEN recipe, the environmental impact is record low.
